TONGDA SMART TECH (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Specialist to join our logistics team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across borders while maintaining rigorous compliance with Malaysian customs regulations.
As our Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing bonded warehouse operations, managing complex import/export documentation, and acting as the primary liaison between our manufacturing facility and customs authorities. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives on accuracy, understands the intricacies of tax compliance, and is committed to operational excellence in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance processes for all import and export shipments.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of customs declarations to relevant authorities.
- Maintain and monitor bonded warehouse manuals to ensure 100% balance accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits of customs documentation to guarantee adherence to statutory tax compliance requirements.
- Liaise effectively with forwarding agents, shipping lines, and government agencies to resolve clearance delays.
- Provide regular reporting on import/export activities and duty payments to management.
- Assist in internal and external audits regarding trade compliance and bonded operations.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customs clearance, bonded warehouse operations, or trade compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Customs laws, tariffs, and HS Code classification.
- Proficiency in customs management software (e.g., eDeclare, SMK systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin (an added advantage).
- Strong sense of integrity and reliability in handling sensitive documentation and tax-related data.
