In this critical role, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect the organizationâs networks, systems, and sensitive insurance data. You will work closely with the banking and finance divisions to ensure compliance with industry regulations, while driving a proactive security culture across the enterprise.
Your dayâtoâday activities will include monitoring security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, performing penetration testing, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for developing security policies, performing risk analysis, and ensuring adherence to standards such as ISOâŻ27001, MAS TRM, and PDPA.

- Design, implement, and manage security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in line with ISOâŻ27001, MAS TRM, and PDPA.
- Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for new projects and business applications.
- Collaborate with IT, banking, and finance teams to integrate security into system design and development.
- Deliver security awareness training and support incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 2â4 years of handsâon experience in a security engineering role, preferably within banking, finance, or insurance.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or ISOâŻ27001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks: MAS TRM, PDPA, PCIâDSS, and GDPR.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
