Are you a seasoned cybersecurity professional looking to make a high-impact contribution within a premier regulatory environment? The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer (Contract) to join our dynamic Security Programmes team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening our organisational security posture. You will be responsible for driving key cybersecurity initiatives, managing complex security exercises, and overseeing strategic projects that safeguard our digital infrastructure. You will work alongside industry experts to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to best-in-class security standards within the financial sector.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and execute comprehensive cybersecurity programmes, ensuring alignment with organizational security strategies and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage complex cybersecurity exercises and simulation drills to test operational readiness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify security gaps and implement robust remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.
- Drive the integration of security controls across new and existing IT infrastructure projects.
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and translate insights into actionable security hardening measures.
- Provide technical advisory on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to senior leadership.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or security project management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, and Firewalls.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
