MCi Career Services is seeking a motivated Data Center/Debug Technician to join our elite operations team in the East Region. In this pivotal role, you will be on the front lines of infrastructure maintenance, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of critical server environments.
As a Debug Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in hardware diagnostics, software troubleshooting, and server rack management. We provide a supportive environment for entry-level candidates (0-2 years experience) to develop technical expertise while working with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform hardware troubleshooting and repair on server racks and networking equipment.
- Execute software diagnostics to identify and resolve system-level performance bottlenecks.
- Document technical issues and resolutions accurately within the internal tracking system.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize server downtime and ensure service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the deployment, installation, and physical racking of new server hardware.
- Monitor data center environmental health and manage basic infrastructure tickets.
- Participate in routine maintenance and security patching schedules.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience in technical support, helpdesk, or data center operations.
- Basic proficiency in Linux command-line operations and file systems.
- Foundational knowledge of programming logic in Python or C++.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for hardware and software debugging.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks related to server maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
