ByteDance is seeking a visionary Data Center Design Manager to join our rapidly growing Data Center Development team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end design strategy for high-performance, hyperscale data centers across the Asia Pacific region.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of architects, MEP engineers, and construction leads to translate complex operational requirements into innovative physical infrastructure. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the comprehensive design development process for new data center projects, ensuring alignment with project budgets and technical specifications.
- Oversee the collaboration between internal stakeholders and external engineering consultants to produce high-quality design documentation.
- Implement industry-leading standards for data center reliability, power density, and cooling efficiency tailored to the APAC climate.
- Manage the technical review process for all design phases, including conceptual, schematic, and construction-ready drawings.
- Provide strategic oversight on site selection, feasibility studies, and master planning for upcoming hyperscale facilities.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Drive continuous improvement in design workflows and standardize engineering practices across regional projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data center design, construction, or mission-critical facility project management.
- In-depth knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier standards, TIA-942, and other global data center design benchmarks.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale data center projects within the APAC region.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex technical constraints and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software and experience with data center modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
