Micron Semiconductors is looking for a highly skilled Data Center SSD Performance Validation Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that our next-generation enterprise SSD products deliver industry-leading performance, reliability, and efficiency for cloud and data center environments.
As a validation expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive test suites, simulate complex workload scenarios, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating data center evolution by bridging the gap between hardware capability and real-world performance requirements.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans for NVMe/SAS enterprise SSDs.
- Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and validate hardware/firmware improvements.
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve validation efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define performance benchmarks and metrics.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on performance regressions and drive resolution through cross-functional teamwork.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize SSD firmware and controller configurations for specific workloads.
- Maintain high documentation standards for test methodologies, results, and recommendations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in SSD validation, storage testing, or performance engineering.
- Deep understanding of NVMe protocol, PCIe architecture, and NAND flash technology.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard performance benchmarking tools (e.g., FIO, Vdbench).
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and kernel-level performance tuning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
