WGT Group is urgently seeking a skilled and proactive Data Centre Facilities Manager to join our infrastructure team in the Central Region. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational excellence, physical security, and mechanical/electrical integrity of our data center assets. You will ensure maximum uptime, maintain safety compliance, and coordinate with technical teams to support mission-critical operations.
This position is ideal for a facilities professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong grasp of data center environmental control, power management, and preventative maintenance protocols. You will act as the primary point of contact for facility-related incidents and lead efforts to optimize site performance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, UPS, power distribution units, and fire suppression systems.
- Manage and supervise on-site contractors and vendors to ensure all maintenance activities meet strict SLA requirements and safety standards.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor facility health and proactively identify potential risks to infrastructure availability.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to facilitate equipment installations, migrations, and decommissioning projects.
- Manage incident response workflows, including troubleshooting facility alarms and ensuring rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation related to facility performance, energy consumption, and maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices for data center environments.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data center operations or mission-critical facility management.
- Strong technical understanding of critical power and cooling systems (e.g., Chillers, CRAH units, ATS, Switchgears).
- Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, and site-based projects effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a calm demeanor during high-pressure system incidents.
- Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and DCIM tools.
- Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating across multiple departments and reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to commit to a contract role and work flexible hours if emergency maintenance is required.
