As a Data Centre Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our high-tech workspaces. You will act as the primary point of contact for all site visitors, managing security protocols, and overseeing activities within restricted areas to ensure that all operational guidelines are strictly followed. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and control physical access to the data center, ensuring all visitors follow established security protocols.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify potential risks in restricted areas.
- Supervise third-party vendors and contractors while they perform maintenance or installation work on-site.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all site activities, visitor entries, and security incidents.
- Assist in the enforcement of health and safety regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Respond promptly to alarms or security breaches, following defined emergency response procedures.
- Coordinate with internal IT and facility management teams to ensure seamless center operations.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience in data center operations, security, or facility management is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of physical security principles and access control systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage professional interactions with visitors and vendors.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations or emergency incidents.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays as required by operations.
