Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Build and optimize big data infrastructure using frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets for analysis and machine learning.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Manage and optimize database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, for performance and reliability.
- Develop documentation and best practices for data engineering standards and procedures.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve data processing efficiency and scalability.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure uptime and performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with hands-on expertise in ETL and data pipeline development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala; proficiency in SQL is essential.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Malay is an advantage.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
