Data Engineer - Azure

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is thrilled to partner with a leading MNC to find a talented Data Engineer (Azure) for a Contract to Hire opportunity in the heart of Singapore. Located in City Hall, Central Region, this role is perfect for a technical professional looking to transition into a permanent position within a dynamic multinational environment.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data platforms on the Microsoft Azure stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data pipelines, ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and ready for advanced analytics. This is a chance to work on high-impact projects that drive business intelligence and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable data architectures using Azure services such as Synapse Analytics and Data Factory.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all enterprise data systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically in Data Factory, Synapse, and Blob Storage.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Experience working with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced MNC setting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
