Argold Jobs Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Data Privacy Compliance Officer to join our growing team in Mandaluyong City. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the guardian of our data governance framework, ensuring that we not only meet the requirements of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) but also set industry benchmarks for transparency and security.
You will work closely with cross-functional departments to audit internal processes, mitigate potential risks, and foster a culture of privacy awareness. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and evaluate the company’s compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection audits on existing and new business processes.
- Maintain and update the company's records of processing activities and data privacy policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data privacy inquiries from internal stakeholders, clients, and the National Privacy Commission.
- Develop and implement data privacy training programs for employees to ensure organizational awareness.
- Monitor and investigate potential data breaches, providing timely reports and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure technical and organizational measures are robustly implemented.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in data privacy, legal compliance, or information security roles.
- Deep understanding of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
- Proven ability to interpret legal requirements and translate them into practical business policies.
- Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in Data Protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, or local equivalents) is highly preferred.
