Vcustomer Philippines, Inc., a leading BPO company, is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Officer (DPO) to join our team. This is a dayshift role based in Pasig City, offering a dynamic work environment focused on excellence and compliance.
As a Data Privacy Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant data privacy laws and regulations, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act and GDPR. You will lead the development and implementation of privacy policies, conduct regular audits, and provide training to employees. Your expertise will be crucial in managing data subject requests, investigating data breaches, and serving as the point of contact for regulatory authorities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities regarding privacy matters.
- Lead training and awareness programs to foster a culture of data protection across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act, GDPR, and other applicable laws.
- Manage and respond to data breaches, including investigation, notification, and remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and legal teams to ensure privacy by design in new projects and systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or information security.
- In-depth knowledge of the Philippine Data Privacy Act and GDPR regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced BPO environment.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering privacy training programs.
