Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and oversee data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) and other applicable regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data subjects, regulatory authorities (e.g., National Privacy Commission), and internal stakeholders on all data privacy matters.
- Conduct regular Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy audits to identify and mitigate data privacy risks across all departments.
- Manage and investigate data breaches and privacy incidents, ensuring timely reporting and effective remediation strategies.
- Provide comprehensive training and awareness programs to all staff members on data privacy best practices and compliance requirements.
- Advise on data processing activities, privacy-by-design principles, and the lawful basis for collecting, processing, and storing personal and sensitive patient information.
- Monitor organizational compliance with data protection laws and internal policies, recommending and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure data security measures are aligned with privacy requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 3-5 years) in a data privacy, compliance, or legal role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- In-depth understanding of the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations.
- Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, CDPO) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex privacy concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with various departments.
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
