Are you a privacy professional with a passion for education and compliance? JobStudio is seeking a highly motivated Data Protection Executive cum Trainer to join our team in the West Region. In this dual-function role, you will be the backbone of our data governance strategy, ensuring organizational compliance while empowering our workforce through comprehensive training programs.
As a Data Protection Executive, you will play a critical role in conducting internal audits, managing incident response protocols, and driving awareness campaigns that foster a culture of privacy and security. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding departments in safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining data integrity in accordance with local regulations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and deliver engaging data protection training programs to staff across all levels of the organization.
- Perform regular data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and internal compliance audits to identify potential risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data protection queries and provide expert advice on privacy matters.
- Manage data breach incidents, including investigation, documentation, and reporting as required by regulatory bodies.
- Design and implement organizational awareness campaigns to promote a privacy-first culture.
- Monitor evolving data protection laws and update internal policies and processes accordingly.
- Collaborate with IT and legal departments to ensure data lifecycle management aligns with organizational security standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
- Relevant certification such as CIPM, CIPP, or DPO certification is highly preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to conduct audits and manage documentation with high attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of PDPA guidelines and international data privacy frameworks.
- Experience in incident handling and risk management.
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and managing multiple stakeholders.
