Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a talented and innovative Data Scientist to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will leverage advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, supporting our mission to optimize mining operations and ensure sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, predict resource trends, and support strategic decision-making.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to predict ore grade, optimize mine plans, and improve resource estimation.
- Perform extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large-scale geological and operational datasets to uncover hidden patterns and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering, geology, and business teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical data solutions.
- Build interactive data visualization dashboards and reporting tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate model performance and measure the impact of data-driven initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, data science, and mining technology to recommend and implement best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or data analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
