We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Data Security Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur office. In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data across the bank. You will design and enforce robust security controls, monitor for potential threats, and lead efforts to mitigate risks. Key aspects of the role include implementing data loss prevention strategies, managing access controls, conducting security assessments, and responding to security incidents. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement data security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents related to data loss prevention (DLP) and access management.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate data security risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of databases, storage systems, and data repositories.
- Lead incident response activities for data breaches, including containment, investigation, and remediation.
- Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness about data security best practices among employees.
- Stay current with emerging threats, regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR), and industry standards to continuously enhance security controls.
- Prepare reports and present security metrics to management and stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data security, cybersecurity, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data protection technologies such as encryption, tokenization, and DLP solutions.
- Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and regulatory compliance (PDPA, GDPR).
- Proficiency in security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
