We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Valenzuela. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our mission-critical database systems.
As our Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our databases, including design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data infrastructure supports the high-speed demands of our production and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a deep understanding of database architecture, high availability, and data integrity.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance database architectures to support business requirements.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
- Perform regular database tuning and optimization to improve query execution speed and efficiency.
- Manage database security, including user access controls, encryption, and audit logs to ensure data compliance.
- Collaborate with developers and IT staff to streamline database integration and support software deployments.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts and management tools.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database schemas, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL environments).
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Experience with high-availability configurations, such as clustering, replication, and mirroring.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL) is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
