In this role, you will be the backbone of our data operations, ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our mission-critical MongoDB clusters.
As a MongoDB specialist, you will collaborate with backend engineers and DevOps teams to optimize database schemas, implement security best practices, and automate backup/recovery processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available MongoDB clusters across production and staging environments.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement proactive performance tuning strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated backup, recovery, and archival scripts to ensure zero data loss.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize query performance, schema design, and indexing strategies.
- Implement and enforce robust security measures, including RBAC, encryption at rest, and audit logging.
- Provide on-call support for database-related incidents to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Stay current with MongoDB features, updates, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on MongoDB.
- Proven expertise in managing MongoDB Sharded Clusters and Replica Sets.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
- Deep understanding of NoSQL database concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- MongoDB Certified Professional certification is highly preferred.
