Ace Zeta Pte. Ltd. is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Datacenter Server, Hardware Engineer to join our IT team in Johor Bahru. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our critical server infrastructure and hardware assets. Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware components, including CPUs, memory, storage arrays, and network interface cards in the datacenter environment.
- Perform regular system diagnostics and hardware troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor server health indicators, power consumption, and thermal conditions to prevent hardware overheating and system downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT operations team to implement hardware upgrades, security patches, and system migrations.
- Respond to and resolve incoming hardware-related tickets and technical incidents promptly to maintain business continuity.
- Document all hardware configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT safety protocols and datacenter best practices during all maintenance activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working as a Server, Hardware, or IT Field Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of server hardware architecture, RAID configurations, and server management tools.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, switches, and datacenter operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
- Valid driver's license is required for potential field site visits (as per 'IT Field Engineer' teaser).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
