Tanggung Jawab
- Assist deck officers in daily bridge watch-keeping and navigational duties.
- Participate in cargo loading, stowing, and discharging operations as per safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep of deck equipment, including winches, cranes, and mooring gear.
- Assist in the preparation of maintenance logs and vessel documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety training sessions.
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations during port arrival and departure.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deck area and related storage spaces.
Kualifikasi
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a recognized Maritime Academy (Deck Department).
- Possess a valid Basic Safety Training (BST) certificate and other mandatory maritime certifications.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions at sea.
- Strong understanding of English for technical communication and documentation.
- Excellent disciplinary record and ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to shipboard routines.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and high levels of safety consciousness.
- Available for long-term deployment at sea.
