In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily logistics, responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of heavy machinery and metal products to our valued customers across Singapore. Beyond driving, your duties will include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, securing cargo, and managing delivery documentation accurately. Tanggung Jawab
- Safely and efficiently transport metal and machinery goods to customer sites across Singapore, with a primary focus on the West and Jurong Industrial areas.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and promptly report any maintenance requirements.
- Securely load and unload cargo using available equipment, ensuring items are properly fastened to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and execute the most effective delivery routes to maximise punctuality and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and all required vehicle documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, upholding the company's professional reputation.
- Assist the warehouse team with inventory organisation and order preparation when not on the road.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Singapore Class 4 driving license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven driving experience, preferably in heavy vehicle or truck operations.
- Excellent knowledge of Singapore roads, traffic rules, and regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and time management skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a professional and positive demeanour.
- A clean driving record is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
