Tanggung Jawab
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport high-value data centre and IT equipment across assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Perform meticulous loading and unloading operations, ensuring fragile technical equipment is secured using industry-standard protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, digital tracking updates, and proof-of-delivery documentation.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse teams and site technicians to ensure seamless handover of critical hardware.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations and DP World internal safety and security protocols.
- Proactively communicate delivery status updates or potential route disruptions to the dispatch team.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Malaysian driving license (Class D or E/GDL preferred).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a transport/logistics role, preferably handling sensitive cargo.
- Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and operational punctuality.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and lift heavy equipment when required.
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware or data centre infrastructure is highly advantageous.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and basic English for communication.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays if business requirements demand.
