As a Demi Chef, you will play a vital role in the daily kitchen operations, working closely with the Chef de Partie and the broader culinary team to ensure consistency, flavor, and presentation standards are met at all times. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and production of dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure the highest level of food hygiene and safety standards are maintained throughout the kitchen.
- Manage the preparation of mise-en-place for daily service efficiently and on time.
- Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants during shifts to ensure task completion.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing food waste to control costs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Formal culinary qualification or equivalent trade certification.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new culinary techniques.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during high-volume service periods.
