Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and plating according to Benihana’s signature recipes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Manage inventory levels, check stock, and minimize food wastage to control costs effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, including cleaning equipment and dining areas.
  • Participate in menu planning and development sessions to enhance culinary offerings.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and hibachi cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster a positive kitchen culture.
