Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee the daily production and preparation of high-quality pastry, cakes, and dessert items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and visual presentation across all pastry offerings.
  • Supervise and mentor Commis chefs and kitchen assistants to maintain high performance standards.
  • Assist the Pastry Chef in developing and testing new recipes and seasonal menus.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize food waste through efficient kitchen practices.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably within a 4 or 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
  • Solid knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, sugar craft, and international pastry trends.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of creativity in plating and presentation.
  • Good communication skills; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
