Are you a passionate culinary professional looking to join a dynamic team in the heart of Bali? SALTLICK is seeking a skilled Demi Chef - Grill Section to elevate our dining experience. As a key member of our brigade, you will assist the Head Chef in preparing high-quality grilled and barbecued dishes, ensuring that every plate meets our exacting standards of taste and presentation.
In this role, you will be responsible for the daily preparation of premium proteins, fresh vegetables, and signature sides, while managing pantry stocks and maintaining a pristine, organized workstation. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, refine your grilling techniques, and contribute to a world-class culinary destination known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of grilled meats, fish, and vegetables to perfection.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the correct portion size, temperature, and visual presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels of grilling ingredients and communicate shortages or needs to the Head Chef.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the grill station before service and during line changes.
- Follow recipes and plating guides strictly to ensure consistency in flavor and appearance.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service and a seamless dining experience.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a similar grill section.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, including charcoal, gas, and wood-fired cooking.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform manual labor.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a cohesive kitchen team.
- Passion for culinary arts and a continuous desire to learn and grow professionally.
