The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a dedicated Deputy/Assistant Director for Financial Advisers Supervision. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and conduct onsite inspections of financial advisory firms to assess compliance with MAS regulations.
- Review and evaluate legislative frameworks and guidelines related to financial advisers.
- Monitor market conduct practices to detect and prevent misconduct or unfair practices.
- Investigate breaches of regulatory requirements and prepare comprehensive enforcement recommendations.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, including financial advisers and industry associations, to provide guidance and clarification.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of supervisory tools and methodologies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory committees.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial services regulation, compliance, or supervision.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and MAS regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
