The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is seeking a dynamic Deputy Manager, Innovation & Enterprise to spearhead our Global Innovation Internships (GII) initiative. This contract role is pivotal in shaping the future of our students and the broader innovation ecosystem. You will be at the heart of driving enterprise-wide innovation, specifically focusing on cutting-edge areas such as Robotics, Design Thinking, and Artificial Intelligence.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between academic research and practical application. You will oversee the execution of innovation projects, mentor student teams, and foster partnerships with industry leaders. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the Global Innovation Internships (GII) program strategy and execution.
- Oversee the development of innovation projects involving Robotics, AI, and Design methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to identify emerging technological trends.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops and innovation challenges for students and faculty.
- Manage project lifecycles from ideation to prototyping and implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and external stakeholders.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies within the university enterprise framework.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in innovation management, R&D, or a similar technical role.
- Strong technical background in Robotics, AI, or Industrial Design is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management and leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Passion for education and student development within a research-intensive university setting.
