- Design and develop innovative polymer materials with specific properties and performance characteristics
- Conduct thorough research and testing to evaluate material properties and suitability for various applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product developers, and marketing specialists
- Optimize material formulations to enhance performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in polymer science and industry trends
- Document research findings, development processes, and technical specifications
- Support the commercialization of new materials through technical guidance and problem-solving
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in polymer design and development, preferably in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methodologies, and quality control processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with polymer processing techniques and equipment
- Experience with material characterization techniques such as SEM, FTIR, and TGA
