MEC, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong track record in delivering complex building projects across Singapore, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Draftsperson (Plumbing & Sanitary) to join our expanding team in the West Region. As a key member of our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) department, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of building services designs from concept through to construction. You will be responsible for producing precise, well-coordinated, and high-quality drafting work for all plumbing and sanitary systems, working closely with a dynamic team of experienced engineers and BIM coordinators. Your ability to interpret complex engineering schematics and translate them into clear, construction-ready drawings using industry-leading software like AutoCAD and Revit MEP will be essential to the team's continued success.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and prepare detailed design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for Plumbing and Sanitary systems across multiple concurrent building projects.
- Utilize advanced features in AutoCAD and Revit MEP (BIM) software to produce accurate 2D schematics and fully coordinated 3D models.
- Collaborate effectively with architectural, structural, and other MEP discipline teams to identify and resolve spatial conflicts and ensure seamless system integration.
- Guarantee that all drawings, submissions, and documentation strictly comply with relevant Singapore standards, codes of practice, and authority requirements (PUB, BCA, SCDF, NEA).
- Proactively review, amend, and update drawing sets based on site instructions, technical queries (RFIs), design changes, and value engineering proposals.
- Maintain a systematic, organized drawing register and enforce robust document control protocols to ensure version accuracy and traceability.
- Provide crucial drafting and technical support to senior engineers and project managers for the preparation of tender documentation, bill of quantities (BOQ), and technical reports.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a closely related technical qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in MEP drafting, with a strong specialisation in Plumbing and Sanitary systems.
- Advanced, hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP (significant BIM experience is highly preferred and advantageous).
- Strong and demonstrable understanding of local regulatory codes and submission requirements (PUB, BCA, NEA, SCDF).
- Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous accuracy, and a methodical approach to drafting work.
- Proven ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a reliable member of a diverse project team.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to comfortably handle multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
