As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of critical water resource infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating precise engineering designs, conducting structural analysis, and ensuring that our project outputs meet the highest international safety and operational standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed design drawings and technical specifications for dam and hydropower infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analysis and hydraulic calculations to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil, mechanical, and electrical components of the design.
- Conduct site visits in the Tenom area to assess conditions and provide technical support during the construction phase.
- Ensure all designs comply with local engineering codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for client reviews and regulatory approvals.
- Identify potential engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in design engineering, preferably within the infrastructure or water works sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other industry-standard engineering design software.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and soil mechanics relevant to dam construction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based environment and adapt to site-specific project demands.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly desirable.
