Eastfound Malaysia Sdn.Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to spearhead our product development initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind the entire product lifecycle—from initial conceptual design and prototyping to ensuring a seamless, high-quality transition into standardized mass manufacturing.
You will lead a dynamic design team, collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to optimize design for manufacturability (DFM), reduce production costs, and maintain our reputation for excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production.
- Manage and mentor the design team to foster innovation, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and technical documentation to ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize product designs to minimize material waste and improve manufacturing cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to validate materials, components, and prototypes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, injection molding, or machining.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing technical teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay (written and verbal).
