The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a talented and motivated Development Engineer to join our Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC). As a Development Engineer specializing in AI for Robotic Systems, you will collaborate with world-class researchers and industry partners to design, develop, and deploy intelligent robotic solutions that address real-world manufacturing and automation challenges. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop AI algorithms for robotic systems including perception, planning, and control modules
- Implement and optimize machine learning models for computer vision and sensor fusion applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into robotic platforms
- Conduct experiments, analyze results, and document findings for research publications and technical reports
- Develop simulation environments and digital twin models for testing robotic AI systems
- Support technology transfer initiatives by working with industry partners on implementation projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI and robotics integration
- Contribute to proposal development and project planning activities
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with robot operating systems (ROS/ROS2) and simulation tools
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, computer vision, and motion planning
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time control is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and in teams
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and presentations
- Prior exposure to industrial robotics or manufacturing automation is a plus
