We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Finance & Draw Manager to oversee the financial lifecycle of our 39-unit HOME-funded residential development project. In this critical role, you will act as the primary liaison between construction teams, lenders, and stakeholders, ensuring that all financial draw requests, project budgets, and compliance requirements are handled with absolute precision.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction finance, project accounting, or development management. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, tracking construction progress against capital expenditures, and ensuring that every draw is accurately documented and processed in alignment with federal and local funding guidelines. This is a high-impact position for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced development environment and understands the complexities of government-funded housing projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end process of construction loan draws, including preparation, submission, and follow-up with financial institutions.
- Monitor and track project budget performance, identifying variances and coordinating with contractors to maintain financial control.
- Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring consistency with completed work on-site.
- Ensure full compliance with HOME-funded program requirements and federal reporting standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, architects, and site supervisors to obtain necessary documentation for reimbursement requests.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project expenditures, change orders, and financial projections.
- Provide regular progress reports to executive leadership regarding project financial health and construction timelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in development finance, construction draw management, or project accounting.
- Familiarity with HOME-funded programs, HUD guidelines, or similar government-subsidized development projects is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex construction contracts and budget documents.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with lenders, contractors, and internal teams.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
