Join Turner & Townsend as a Senior Cost Manager in our Industrial/Manufacturing sector and take the lead in managing cost control for large-scale industrial projects. In this critical role, you will oversee the entire cost management lifecycle, from initial estimation to final project closeout. As a key member of our project management team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to develop accurate cost forecasts, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving measures. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the entire cost management lifecycle for large or multiple industrial projects
- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for industrial construction and manufacturing facilities
- Monitor project expenditures against budget and implement cost control measures
- Conduct regular cost analysis and forecasting to ensure project financial viability
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Prepare regular cost reports for stakeholders and senior management
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to optimize procurement costs
- Ensure compliance with contractual financial requirements and industry standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cost management for industrial/manufacturing projects
- Professional certification such as RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, FIDIC conditions, and Malaysian building regulations
- Proven track record of managing budgets for projects exceeding RM 50 million
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
