Standard Chartered is seeking a Digital Currencies Solution Engineering Lead to spearhead our next-generation payment initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex distributed ledger technology (DLT) and enterprise-grade banking infrastructure.
You will lead a high-performing engineering team, driving the architecture, design, and implementation of digital currency solutions, including CBDCs, stablecoins, and tokenized assets. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of digital currency and DLT-based payment solutions.
- Drive technical innovation by integrating emerging blockchain technologies into existing core banking systems.
- Manage and mentor a team of cross-functional engineers, promoting best practices in agile delivery and secure coding.
- Collaborate with product managers and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliant and scalable solution designs.
- Oversee the performance and security audits of distributed ledger platforms and smart contract deployments.
- Engage with global stakeholders to align digital currency strategies with regional banking regulations.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the engineering group.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, with a strong focus on high-scale distributed systems.
- Proven expertise in blockchain protocols (Hyperledger, Ethereum, Corda) and digital asset frameworks.
- Solid understanding of payment gateways, SWIFT, and real-time gross settlement (RTGS) systems.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams in a global, matrixed environment.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, security protocols, and cyber-resiliency in financial services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
