We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join Google Cloud as a Director of Customer Engineering, focusing on AI Infrastructure for the APAC region. In this pivotal role, you will lead an award-winning team of technical experts dedicated to helping our enterprise customers harness the transformative power of Google Cloud's artificial intelligence and machine learning infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of driving AI adoption across key industries, ensuring our clients leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges.
As a key member of the Google Cloud leadership team in APAC, you will bridge the gap between advanced technical architecture and strategic business outcomes. You will define the technical vision for customer engagements, mentor high-performing engineers, and collaborate closely with sales and product leadership to accelerate revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the APAC market landscape and the ability to inspire a team to deliver exceptional technical solutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Customer Engineers and Technical Program Managers specializing in AI and Infrastructure.
- Drive the adoption and deepening of usage for Google Cloud's AI/ML platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, Generative AI) across key enterprise accounts in the APAC region.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Product to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for AI solutions.
- Identify emerging trends in AI infrastructure and evangelize Google Cloud solutions to drive market share and thought leadership.
- Ensure customer success by delivering high-impact technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and strategic implementation support.
Kualifikasi
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or a related field within the cloud computing or technology industry.
- Strong background in AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) with practical experience designing and deploying infrastructure at scale.
- Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams or customer-facing technical organizations to achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in or with the APAC region, with a strong network of industry contacts and an understanding of regional market dynamics.
