VDL ETG, a global leader in high-tech manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director/Head of Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations in Singapore. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving global and regional strategies, optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes, and ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
As the head of the Supply Chain department, you will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute global and regional supply chain strategies aligning with company goals.
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement inventory control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in driving global supply chain strategies and managing complex operations.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision making.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in high-tech or electronics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a multicultural environment.
