GHD Group is currently seeking a highly experienced Director or Manager for Design & Delivery (Roads) to join our dynamic team in the Philippines. As a key member of our Design & Delivery Organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure and transportation networks.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex road projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial design concepts through to final construction delivery. In this senior leadership role, you will champion operational excellence, mentor junior staff, and ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of major road and highway infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop comprehensive project strategies, delivery plans, and budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to maintain industry-leading standards in road design and construction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including government bodies, clients, and contractors.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design and delivery function to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in road design, highways, and infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management capacity.
- Strong proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Expert knowledge of design standards, construction methodologies, and project management best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or RIBA are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Filipino is required.
