Ltd. is seeking a motivated Downstream Bioprocessing Intern to join our innovative Bioprocess Development team in Singapore. In this role, you will be at the heart of our mission to accelerate industrial biotechnology through our proprietary microfluidic technology.
As an intern, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience working alongside industry-leading scientists and engineers. You will be involved in the end-to-end bioprocessing pipeline, specifically focusing on the critical downstream phase. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation of media and buffer solutions required for bioprocess development.
- Operate and maintain laboratory fermenters and bioreactor systems under supervision.
- Perform downstream processing tasks, including centrifugation, filtration, and chromatography techniques.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data to track process performance and yield.
- Support the team in troubleshooting equipment and optimizing bioprocessing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety standards and quality control protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to ongoing development projects.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of bioprocess engineering, microbiology, or downstream unit operations.
- Hands-on experience in a wet lab environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and rigorous documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced R&D team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
