Tanggung Jawab
- Translate engineers' and designers' rough sketches and specifications into detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and assembly details for various engineering projects.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements and integrate feedback effectively.
- Review and revise drawings based on design changes, field conditions, or client feedback, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Maintain an organized system for filing, retrieving, and archiving engineering drawings and related documents.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bills of quantities from finished drawings.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Proven proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of practical experience as a Drafter in an engineering or architectural setting.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and engineering drawing standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering sketches, and design documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations (e.g., Malaysia standards) is a plus.
