We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Drafter (Steel) to join our professional team in Jurong East. In this role, you will play a critical part in our engineering operations, translating conceptual designs into precise structural steel drawings. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers and project managers to ensure that all technical specifications meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in steel detailing, fabrication knowledge, and proficiency in CAD software. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed structural steel fabrication drawings and erection plans based on engineer designs.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, structural standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and shop floor teams to troubleshoot design or fabrication issues.
- Maintain accurate document control, including revisions, transmittals, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants to clarify structural details and design intent.
- Perform site measurements or verification when necessary to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Participate in design review meetings to provide technical feedback and process improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in steel structural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; experience with Tekla Structures or BIM software is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, connections, and welding symbols.
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
