Pentronic Engineering is looking for a talented and motivated Draftsman / Draftswoman to join our growing team in George Town, Penang. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings that drive our projects to success.
In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure all technical specifications meet industry standards and project timelines. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and 2D/3D models using AutoCAD software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and data to develop precise construction blueprints.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design discrepancies and technical issues.
- Revise existing drawings based on field feedback or change orders during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drafts comply with company standards, local safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for all project drawings and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and material take-offs when required.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in drafting or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2010 or newer versions is essential).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and engineering symbols.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and mechanical blueprints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
