The Municipal Government of Baliuag, Bulacan is seeking a dedicated Draftsman III to join our growing team in Ilocos Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality technical drawings for public infrastructure projects.
As a Draftsman III, you will play a key role in the design and documentation of municipal construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with national standards and local regulations. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate conceptual plans into precise, detailed blueprints that guide construction activities.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Review and interpret architectural sketches, engineering calculations, and specifications.
- Update and maintain drawing files, revisions, and associated documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design conflicts and suggest practical solutions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with the Philippine Building Code and other relevant regulations.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and material take-offs as required.
- Perform site inspections and take measurements to verify field conditions.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Graduate of a degree or certificate program in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical drafting, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and technical standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error‑free drawings.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to attend training and certifications as required.
