Join Masmindo Dwi Area as a Drill & Blast Engineer and play a pivotal role in our mining operations. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing drilling and blasting activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production targets. This position requires a deep understanding of geological conditions, explosive materials, and safety protocols to maximize productivity while minimizing environmental impact. You will collaborate closely with geologists, production teams, and safety officers to develop integrated plans that align with operational objectives. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement drilling patterns and blast plans based on geological surveys and production requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
- Monitor and optimize blast efficiency through analysis of fragmentation, vibration data, and cost metrics
- Manage drilling equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance troubleshooting
- Prepare technical reports, blast assessments, and operational documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including geology, production, and maintenance
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols and operational standards
- Train and mentor junior staff on drilling and blasting best practices
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drilling and blasting operations within mining industry
- Professional certification in blasting/safety (e.g., Blaster's License)
- Proficiency in blast design software (e.g., BlastPro, Vulcan)
- Strong understanding of Indonesian mining regulations (PER-01/P/2014)
- Ability to analyze geological data and adapt blast designs accordingly
- Experience managing drilling equipment (RC, DTH, blasthole drills)
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex geological conditions
