In this role, you will be the guardian of our facilities, ensuring that the legendary “Gold Standards” of The Ritz-Carlton are upheld through every maintenance task, repair, and operational oversight.
As a Duty Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the luxury environment that our guests expect. You will be responsible for the seamless operation of building services, responding to urgent maintenance requests, and leading a team of technicians to uphold the highest safety and aesthetic standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily building operations and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems are functioning at peak efficiency.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to maintain the physical integrity and luxury standards of the property.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, delegating tasks effectively to ensure swift resolution of maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff reports of technical faults, prioritizing high-impact areas to minimize disruption.
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize energy consumption and performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage for auditing purposes.
- Ensure full compliance with local safety, health, and environmental regulations and internal Ritz-Carlton standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end commercial property.
- Strong technical proficiency in MEP systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and power distribution.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure when handling emergency maintenance situations.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to interact with guests and internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage team performance and technical schedules.
- Proficiency in Building Management Systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
