Are you an experienced engineering professional looking to make an impact in one of Southeast Asia's busiest and most advanced port terminals? Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) is seeking a highly motivated Duty Manager for RTG (Rubber-Tyred Gantry) Management to join our elite maintenance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the peak operational performance, availability, and reliability of our RTG crane fleet.
As a Duty Manager, you will lead high-performing technical teams, oversee critical maintenance schedules, and implement engineering strategies that minimize downtime. You will play a vital role in our terminal's efficiency, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the rigorous demands of global shipping operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily maintenance and repair (M&R) operations for the RTG fleet to ensure optimal terminal productivity.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing technical guidance and performance monitoring to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on RTG cranes.
- Coordinate with terminal operations to schedule maintenance windows that minimize service disruptions.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement in RTG reliability and lifespan.
- Ensure full compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and PTP internal safety protocols.
- Manage maintenance inventory and spare parts requisition to ensure efficient repair cycles.
- Generate detailed technical reports for management regarding equipment status and resource allocation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance, ideally within a port or logistics environment.
- Proven expertise in RTG (Rubber-Tyred Gantry) maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage technical teams under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of PLC systems, electrical drive systems, and mechanical crane components.
- Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and standard office software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required by terminal operations.
