Tanggung Jawab
- Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation including chopping vegetables, washing herbs, portioning meats, and preparing basic sauces.
- Ensure all food preparation and storage areas adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing utensils, and cleaning prep stations regularly.
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, reporting any low stock levels to the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing fresh produce and kitchen deliveries.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service hours to ensure timely food delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Prior experience as a Cook Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role in a restaurant, cafe, or beach club is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene (HACCP principles), and fundamental food prep techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative team player mindset.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Currently residing in Bali or willing to work in the Badung area.
- Vocational high school (SMK) degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is an advantage.
