Surechem Sdn Bhd, a forward-thinking leader in industrial solutions, is seeking a highly skilled E&I Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. Digital Development (The "Software" Pillar): Engage in the full lifecycle of software development for industrial control systems. You will write and debug PLC code, design intuitive HMI interfaces, and develop algorithms that drive efficiency and safety in chemical processing environments. Your software will be the digital brain of our operations.
IoT & Systems Integration (The "Bridge" Pillar): Become the key technical liaison connecting the physical and digital worlds. You will architect and implement IoT solutions, integrating a wide array of sensors, actuators, and analyzers into SCADA and cloud-based platforms. This pillar is the nerve center of our digital transformation strategy, ensuring that data flows securely and reliably from the field to the boardroom.
Field Operations & Support (The "Hands-On" Pillar): Ground your theoretical knowledge in practical application. You will lead commissioning activities, perform rigorous testing and calibration of instrumentation, diagnose complex system faults on-site, and provide technical training to client operations teams. This pillar ensures that our engineered solutions deliver results in the real world.
This role offers a rare blend of desk-based engineering design and field execution. You will collaborate closely with project managers, software developers, and client site engineers. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and implement control system software (PLC, DCS, SCADA/HMI) for chemical and industrial processes.
- Lead the integration of field instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level) with IoT gateways and cloud platforms.
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) for control systems and instrumentation packages.
- Commission, calibrate, and troubleshoot field instruments and control valves at client facilities across Malaysia.
- Provide technical support and training to operations staff on new systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with the software development team to bridge OT and IT systems for data analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional design specifications, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in E&I engineering, preferably within the chemical, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley/Logix) and SCADA/HMI development (WinCC, iFix, Ignition).
- Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC UA, MQTT).
- Experience with the selection, sizing, and installation of field instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and IoT middleware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a field environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; willingness to travel to client sites within Malaysia.
