About the Role
Trace College in Los Baños, Laguna is seeking a dedicated and passionate Economics Teacher to join our faculty. In this full-time position, you will inspire and educate students in the principles of economics, preparing them for future academic and career success. As part of our committed educational team, you will deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to curriculum development in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics courses to assigned year levels in accordance with curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote critical thinking and real-world application.
- Assess and monitor student performance through examinations, projects, and class activities.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students to foster a positive learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department to enhance program delivery.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student progress.
- Contribute to the development of instructional materials and resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Education with specialization in Social Studies, or related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary or tertiary level.
- Valid teaching license or certification (PRC License preferred).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young individuals.
- Proficiency in instructional technology and modern teaching methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
